1. Information We Collect
When you use SegmentFlow.ai, we collect information necessary to provide the Service:
- Account information: Your name, email address, and Shopify store details provided during registration.
- Store data: Customer and order data from your connected Shopify store, used to power segmentation and campaigns.
- Usage data: How you use the Service. In the app, we measure the pages and features you use, setup steps, AI features, and errors, whether or not you accept analytics cookies (see section 5). On this website, we collect analytics only with your consent.
- Exit feedback: If you delete your account or organization, the reason and comment you choose to give.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Find where customers get stuck and fix errors they run into
- Generate customer segments and email campaigns on your behalf
- Track email performance and revenue attribution
- Communicate with you about the Service
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (e.g., email delivery, hosting, product analytics and error reporting) and as required by law.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
5. Cookies and Analytics
On this website, we use strictly necessary cookies and, only with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how visitors use it. You can manage your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in our footer.
In the SegmentFlow.ai app, we measure how signed-in customers use the Service with PostHog, our analytics provider, whether or not they accept analytics cookies. This covers the pages and features used, setup steps that succeed or fail, emails sent, AI features used, and errors. We also send error reports for anyone using the app, signed in or not. This measurement does not set cookies, IP addresses are discarded, and the data is processed in the EU. We rely on our legitimate interest in fixing problems and improving the Service.
You can turn this off at any time with "Opt out of analytics" under Privacy & Analytics in your profile settings in the app, or object by contacting us at support@segmentflow.ai. We then stop recording analytics about you on every device and on our servers. Events for your organization are kept without linking them to you, and error reports are still sent so we can fix problems.
Session recordings in the app happen only with your consent and are kept for 30 days. If you delete your account or organization, the reason and comment you choose to give are stored in PostHog with your account.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@segmentflow.ai.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page.
